QUEENS OF THE MIC

is an entertainment group of beautiful talented ladies of the microphone. These QUEENS bring an ecclectic style of Hip-Hop infusing Spoken Word, R & B, Neo Soul and Reggae into a passionate sound that entrances their audience. Like the infamous Wu-tang, each QUEEN component has a solo career that is pursued and when they come together their pursuits are magnified as a powerful, charismatic entertainment group. They have performed for solely Hip-Hop audiences, Reggae audiences, R & B audiences, Spoken word/Neo Soul audiences and have unified these audiences to appreciate every aspect of the music they present. There are 4 lyricist JA'SO RUDE, FIYAH, CFREEDOM, and THE LIONESS, 2 singers/vocalist IRISP, XENA and THE TRUE LOVE MOVEMENT an all female band that accompanies QUEENS OF THE MIC.

At a time when the ever male dominated hip-hop world seems to be lacking the female balance, out springs forth 6 of the most beautifully gifted women in hip-hop. Hosted by the gracious Nabii Bastet and includes phenomenal emcees: Ja So Rude, Fiyah like Ayanna, and CFreedom, as well as the sexy songstress, Iris P and the super talented drummer, Jaz Butler.
